Programming Studies

i’m studying programming, at the same time I’m studying a little python and then contrasting it with Android (Java) specifically the Eclipse program (that makes programming easier). My first project is a simple Character generator. A character generator is made up of a Random Number Generator, Tables References, and an Output Script (a text file).

I already have a flow chart for an Anygame System Character Generator. By any game system it defaults in Realistic Historical Character parameters then proceeds alterations for settings and genres and handwaving.

Getting back to my studies, I don’t expect to be an expert in Android or Python programming. I would want to, I’d expect to be a fairly good programmer able to produce apps with the knowledge found in all the tutorials currently released online. As to being clever enough to make something new and original, I’m not that clever BUT I do have statistics going for me. Since I am an outlier by some degree and my skills are a unusual combination of Gaming, Science, Wargames, Cognition, Psychology, Visual Arts, 3d, etc.. I hope to produce something that draws from all my strange and varied experiences.

I have some ideas but I’ll be prudent and keep it in hard notes.

Now that I’ve come to look at the App making processes and the App market, I know someone criticizing Android for being Too Easy to Make! LOLs. Being too easy allows for more crap in the Android Market, BUT it gives people like me a chance to make something that may be very useful.

There are a lot of people making crap in android, and some even copying and pirating some popular apps and passing it off as their own. There are certain limitations in the market that predict what would be the optimal strategy in creating a service/product.

Anyway I hope I can learn to make my character generator soon and finish its easliest and most basic iteration before december.
