Cheating is really really bad here in the Philippines

There are incredible amounts of cheating going on in Philippine airsoft. One instance that just happen to our team was when we had a game where we siege-ing  the warehouse. We found an opening and were going to do a dynamic entry.

Now there was an “Ally”. I say he was an ally because all opfors are inside an emplace and this is not one of those BLACK OPS games where people backstab each other. This is a regular sunday game.

Now before we did our siege, this ALly called out our positions to US. He was saying watch out for X and Y, alerting X and Y to our positions. Now ours sieging team mates could not hear this and so did us, except our Team Captain and another who were hit early and watching it unfold.

So our guys and us get slaughtered… and I later one of our team mates tells us Mr. Rat was walking among the Opfor. You’re not supposed to “change sides” in the game.

HOLY M*THRF*KR!

I mean, we keep a very low profile and we don’t do politics. And to be slaughtered by this guy, by this team, in a typical sunday game is f*cked up.

Prior to that game, we noticed our game site’s cheating has gotten much worse. Us “outsiders” are usually paired with each other, and we try to mix with the “Territorial Team” because there is no point getting killed with one side cheating. The marshal really wants us not to mix, even when we insist.

When my friend got shot in the face visor that caused him to bleed it is that same site.

What people have to sacrifice for  5000 sqm all terrain site, we are gluttons for punishment. LOL.

Stretching Back, my earliest and most traumatizing memories of cheating was when I was in a Speed ball game. Everyone was in contractor look, our team was in digi jungle. Everyone ran, no one crawlled so when I crawled and they ran past me. I shot them point blank, while they were in the move. You might think: hey why shoot a guy point blank… these guys are runners and runners ignore pain… and thats what he did. He ignored me, I had to shout right behind him “HIT KANA” (you’re hit!).

Only a few teams require a Code of Honor/Conduct when being members, and fewer teams have the wisdom not to play politics.

Well, hopefully that will change once we find a location for our own use and that of allies. Allies are teams we associate with, they have a good rep with us and if not implied have a good unspoken code of honor.

Now that I got a combat shirt, I think I’m the most vulnerable. Its nice cause it keeps me honest. In fact sometimes I call hit reflexively from ricochet thats very strong. I don’t mind since intra team games go by so fast and I get to play again the next game.

The last game got me bleeding hitting my lap and belly, I’m just grateful none hit my balls.
