My main barrier of converting most of my distractions into usefully spent time is how much of start up time getting back into my little projects.
My Chinese studies has an app and notebook needed to start up, my writing or exercise requires a lot of start up time.
For writing it takes 15-20 mins to reread where I last stopped and ideate my next actions and ideas to attempt.
But writing and exercise are just stuff I want to get done, there are things I need to do get my household in order and chores lolz.
Exercise barrier is time and place, can I afford to be sweaty and winded right now. Do I have 12-15 minutes free?
It seems if I can predict 15-20 mins free time and can get something done in that amount of time I would have more things done. Maybe I should tailor my gear and method to getting something done in that amount of time. This includes reading or listening to a data dump.
