Monitoring first

to validate if we created processes correctly it reminds me of birds regurgitating food to chicks. We predigest it for their consumption – we may cite it and/or the Wikipedia, but rarely do people have the time and workload management to spend time verifying information and making verification easier for everyone.
Fix monitoring first because we don’t have accessible information to make data driven judgements.

The previous directors before me tried to fix everything by making a process map. That was correct and the first solution in many books was process mapping.

What has been different was that I studied scrum, agile, adaptive strategies, improvisation, and Toyota production system. This made Monitoring my chief priority.

It helps that all the biz I had privy to, from BPO, and from the grape vine did not have the monitoring system a gamer would have designed.

Lean and Gamers have a common sphere of designing a dashboard or monitoring system that had the fastest cycle time systematically possible at the lowest cost to manpower.

Wikipedia, Agile and Scrum, taught me the value of democratic information or information transparency. That if a task can be data driven then data should influence the task and not be uselessly processed by a decision maker.

Attention and memory Sciences helped me work with scarcity of processing power. That we can only juggle so many and that we must work to simplify and aid our memory and mind by offloading information best left in visual controls or written instructions.

I was doing a doodle for work and one minute of distraction made me forget what that doodle was for.

I am working with no budget, my power is only to align forces that are wasted. And while I am the son of the owner, my arguments must convince the entire Company and not just the board. (violating this leads to instability, I only need to convince my mom, the most negatively affected, and 60-80% of the company).

How many filipino blogs are there about turning around their company towards lean? (I notice lean is not capitalistic and has values that border on socialistic).
