The dillemma of Healthcare Technology: Society vs Profitability

i sat in for a Pitch of a clinic management system. Its great but… i saw the problem of the Enterep – too many places to fix when it comes to healthcare. The one that is profitable doesnt address the needs of society – eventually leading to the conflict where you have scarce resources and how do you help with pain points when pain points dont pay.

Our company has had experience with running such automation where – automating the data management of the Clinic or Doctor does not add value. Its automation far outweighs the cost. Especially since the cost of Infra rises (relative to the groups and communities) as it goes farther and farther from Technology infrastructure. Income in the boondoks is much lower so technology becomes more expensive for them.

While I understood all this – I wanted to interject with my problem with health care apps: You dont report your pain, you sickness, your hurting.

So I use a Fitbit and thats the weakness of it you dont report pain or illness.

I use google forms to make analysis of the health of my family.  Particularly frequency of getting sick.

Like my 2 year old who began getting sick at a high frequency because she was under prepared for preschool (too young).

So I document our recovery and our illness, something that would be important for any Family or household or person. You want to see long term trends in daily reporting of your health – to seperate Illusion and whats real.

One of our partners has a Activity Tracker device – I want to white label it and change it into something gamified our health and our development. To be forgiving for when you can’t work out or take care of yourself but will help you rebuild and recover. Recovery focused health tracking device.

Another particular aspect of it is Tracking PAIN and Discomfort.
