Adapting – Inquisitive Leadership

I’ve encountered people who are used to getting their way. In tagalog I would sa “Sanay pagiging amo” or Used to being the Master. One of the strangest behavior I’ve seen in my professional life is meeting people who you dont know and making a lot of assumptions and acting on those assumptions. One of the experiences I had in a environment where we are all supposed to be peers, there are people who would assume one party doesnt know what their doing – despite accessible and open background.

that situation got me to revisit memories where I’ve seen people in authority force a method, without knowledge of the Working Conditions.
Forcing a Rule or Making Decrees and Expecting Everyone to follow is a Mindset we got when we Delt with Kings and Emperors. Among peers, as Ursula LeGuin taught me from her books is that its a Non-Zero sum game. I dont have to apply a rule or expect them to follow. I only need to expect anything among those I have a relationship with. I can only effect change to those who I know and everything beyond that – as long as it does not harm me – I dont have to involve myself with. >> there are some weaknesses here this mindset fails to account the Paradox of Tollerance. Until we are space faring and able to rebuild anywhere – there are still limits and there is a Zero Sum reality.
The Christian Evangelization and Monotheism is a Zero-Sum mindset. You have to evangelize and you have to make people think a certain way.
Among Peers and Strangers, we assume things but we dont act on them. We ask and we adapt. Conflict arises when one party doesnt understand the other party. Empathy is crucial in understanding how multiple parties align. When I review how I do things, and begin with an Investigation and Problem statement – its so strange how much people dont begin with inquiry that they railroad and force their views without verification.
