When they say they have no MONEY in the business,
that’s bullshit.
What they mean is that they have NO MONEY to extract from the business. They don’t want to INVEST in the business, they want to bleed it and run.
They can AFFORD higher wages OR better benefits or a better quality of LIFE is just that they want to plunder it and Run.
when they plunder gov’t – and I see how many businesses are set up this way, and how many businesses really INVEST in itself and its workers I’m not surprised if its hundreds plundering systems vs a handful in the largest Companies BUT in the smallest companies – where people have a relationship with the people in the business and they themselves are uncertain – it is an Investment.
Investment in People, Processes, Tools and Improvement – these dont make the company “Immediately profitable” – it doesn’t make the company Plunderable unless the corruption involves skimming from these investments.
While the larger corporations are fewer, they have a larger impact in a Country because of how powerful they are and deciding who rule as compared to the democratic process. While the smaller companies are plenty and many, they are fragile and disappear and appear and can barely participate.
