Finally Finished CAPM basic training

What happens now?

  1. Will I take the CAPM?
    1. I don’t know. I don’t think so. Anything beyond a few months I can’t foresee. Definitely, I can’t pass the CAPM without an Open Book. Passing the CAPM doesn’t solve the problem of the family business. More important is creating the Project Management Plan (the instructions and the body of knowledge a company uses and tailors for its projects).
  2. Will I continue studying it in ANKI
    1. Yes. PMBOK in itself is something I need to master and I need to convert the knowledge into something Digestible and Practical for my company as well as other Filipinos.
  3. What is the benefit of having finished this?
    1. To experience the easiest hurdle of the PMI. See how long it took to get to this point and see if it is sustainable.
    2. I guess sustainable is a couple of things:
      1. Achievable Goals and GOals that are within a few months (about 5-20 hours of work accumulated).
      2. It has inherent value to Me. This means I really find it useful. I found PMBOK useful but I also found it frustrating.
      3. It has some Market Value. TRPGs I believe has a lot of value to me. The ability to Model so many elements in Reality as to have useful predictive and informative tools make TRPGs very important to me – its just that there is no Market Value for someone who has skills in Game-Designed applied in practical operations and project management.
  4. What is Next?
    1. Red Hat Enterprise Training. This is probably going to be something I will seriously consider certification because of how frequently I apply and exercise it.
    2. ERPNext.
    3. Javascript Basics.
    4. Adding to my Mandarin studies and focus on HSK 2 certification.
