Game in the Brain

Until I can use the new Word Daily, I believe my maximum Score in any SRS system would be 180 days or 6 months. This is my guess so far. It may be worse, it may be 120 or just 90 days. I will confirm soon enough.

I started checking the PLECO maximum score of 512 days, and noticing my forgetting is much more frequent. Its also possible I have more insecurities and uncertainty now that my memory is not what it used to be. I think depression and fear is part of the human condition, and that there is no escaping my worries, just learning to manage them.

This means there is a MAXIMUM cap of what I can learn unless I can bind the knowledge into other elements in my life. An example would be having a business partner that happens to speak Chinese and would want a proficient speaker to work with and willing to invest the time. I would imagine he would want in return for the navigation and the years of experience I can bring them to the Philippine business setting.

I can notice that some words are better understood when I listen to it in Use. I need to create such exercise material. This is what I plan to do in my ANKI deck as compared to my Pleco deck. I would have the word, then 例如 (example) give a sentence. Then repeat the word again.
不但，例如：他不但会讲英语，还会讲法语。不但。 The sentence it is used in gets to exercise the other words I should know. I notice every RECALL does alter the word as I forget subtleties in the Radicals.
