Strangely the people who argue against the 40:60 doesnt seem to work in BPO area or Law (so far in my encounters) because the law allows for complete ownership (which is why multinationals are HERE) but with a “Security Deposit/Bond) of about 500,000USD – this is law despite being “old” prevented biz from simply “bailing out” like what happened in the Asian Financial Crisis which aggravated the situation… Strangely as well, i learned this in a US Economics Lesson (Timothy Taylor TTC “contemporary economic history”).
In light of “paid propaganda” going more virally around i’m still struggling with my knee jerk reaction to news. Its like I want to stop listening to Journalists and sources and just go to Professors or Industry Experts instead. Doesnt suck – the media industry as a whole may not contain bad apples, but the bad apples can be the ones debasing the credibility of the entire industry because it is easier to FILTER Journalism vs Experts.
I would have RT and Al-Jazaerra on my Feed just to have the “contrary opinion” (with RT striking me as more inflammatory / click-baiting).
If Media or Journalism loses a good deal of credibility and we leave it to “research groups” behind Experts, would News be facilitated between these Analysts? Would the Journalism of Daily Show, Colbert Report, and Last Week Tonight with their “investigative” hint at a direction – More aggregated analysis with larger staffs of analysts and writers vs simple Journalist investigation?
It seems that the “barrier” for clarity has risen as things get more and more complicated and you now need the “multi-core” power of a research staff in making sense of things more than ever. Access to these Analyst “Cells” may be the next method of learning news as rarely are things what they seem.
I like the idea of people having jobs in Analyst staffs that break down complexity barrier for everyone else – making it easier to learn about other things. I’m biased because I’m kinda an analyst and would love to work with others who would review my work and I can review theirs.
