My Dad hated it when i fought this abusive client. I’m young I’m allowed to get emotional. I’m also not trusted with a lot of responsibility because of that act. Still, the AC was stoned walled and frustrated. he ended up hating me.
What my dad did was reassign the responsibility to someone else, someone who was easily bullied by the AC. Now so late and many months later, it has come to my knowledge that we got into a very very bad contract with this client. Holy Fucktard.
Putting someone in a position to be bullied, especially your own people, is never a good business decision.
I with my uncle made point per point WHAT NOT TO DO list and contract even before this ever happened. one of my first acts when i came to this company was learn its lessons and write it all down. I hope the audience can appreciate the amount of anguish I feel when i have already written clearly lessons that we have already paid for, only to have these same lessons ignored…
Its really sad and depressing when this happens. Don’t do business with people who actively want to screw you over, always carefully analyze who you do business with and evaluate their character. My dad should have listened to my mom’s counsel, one listen to the counsel of your trusted lieutenants and those who you respect enough that friendship still exists even when there is great differing opinions.
Its annoying to clean up the mess of others. I now know what my mom feels… Still I have to be optimistic, I have to shrug it off, and I have to think quickly and creatively out of this problem. Its just fucked up, how I don’t believe in miracles and carefully and seriously move with the aid of legal and the political will of the company and then this shit happens.
good thing I have a family that I love, great friends and a hobby because holy shit this is screwed up.
