Too busy for my case study traveller game

This is a work and life post. I realize being a relatively young biz “owner” i tend to be over enthuziastic about my projects. I tend to accumilate a lot projects. Its like a slow cooking frog syndrome, since projects take weeks and months to mature inexperience puts me in a position to try everything and push personal organizational limits. So i’m not aware im slowly cooking myself.

I know im overloaded when i apply my own time and motion assessments to myself and find no free time. Heck i multi task so much, im writing mostly when i eat and walk, i feel id make a great employee for someone given how many hours i am at work and how much projects i handdle.

New metric:

The total cost of delegation =

  • time to explain the activity
  • Time to note it down so that your mind is free to concentrate on other tasks
  • Time to create way to measure the success and deliverable of the person you delgated the task.
  • Time to organize them and explain their priorities for the day and the week.

This has given me the metric that it takes about 50% of my time explaining and organizing.

The rest of the time is spent ill save for another post.

Suffice to say this amount of hours is not sustainable, and i cant relax until the problems left by the previous management is fixed. Due dilligence and carefull actions guided by you legal and finance is a strong lesson for our company. Fast and loose with so many risks took a terrible toll with our company.

Skill figures alot in biz here in the phils, but not as much as time. We work with what we have, i have youth and ill play that card while i can afford to play it. Sucks that i have poor health though. I keep forgetting to get my kiney sonogram results.
