Most Corrections are Not acts of Brilliance, which makes all more inexcusable to perform them.

Most Corrections (80/20 rule) are Not acts of Brilliance, which makes all more inexcusable to not perform any Correction.

In my Experience most corrections are typically:

1) (training and process development) Standardizing the factors and categories of a process, making sure everyone is working of the same information, defining factors,
2) (math word problems you encountered when you were in gradeschool and highschool) creating a simple formula for measuring it (example Date finished – Date received, pivoted to see quantities of each work and the number of dates)
3) (“I better write that down”-reflex) Documenting common interruption, defects, rework, and miscommunication.
4) (“I better write that down”-reflex) Reporting Accurate Information about a Process (and not skewering the messenger)

There is no especially brilliant calculation to any of these correction, just the honest work that comes to being diligent and performing the Management activities.

It helps growing up along side geniuses that by properties of Comparative Advantage, regular people like me are still useful and can still get a lot of work done by shear tenacity or diligence.  If your a gamer: High Wis score FTW.
