Well I’m able to put in a lot of hours studying. Especially with the rendering. Now I remember how much of a hardware hog 3d is. But there is a solution, forethought in organizing rendering projects is important as well as mastery of materials and render, and of course writing all the best practices and strategies down.
Its still easier now than before. With so many tutorials and opportunities. Hardware is a newer barrier I’m experiencing. The most critical one is time and concentration. Hardware matters now because I’m trying to render. Doing Modeling and Sculpting doesnt require so much hardware but rendering does and you only learn ever after interval of correction… so i’m limited to rendering speed.
to get realistic renders i have to raise sampling from 10 to 1000 thats about 100x fold computing increase. To overcome that barrier I have to really have a good process and system. This will take a while, but I think by the end of the month I can probably set up a render farm which will help our company.
Hopefully by the end of the month, render farm and quality modeling and rendering is a skill and a process I can master. After which the paths I need to go to is Rigging, Animation, and next Game Engine.
