Went to Ehobby Asia

Came from hong kong and got to visit Ehobby Asia
Because of Philippine Import Laws sucks…
The batteries I bought. i bought around 8, saved about 8000-12000 pesos if I compared it to buying in the Philippines.  2500mha and 20C and 11.1V. I’ll have to get it converted to deans plug here.

Batteries are cheaper in HK and harder to come-by in the Philippines. Although Springs are x5 more expensive in the Philippines, batteries are something I would be paying 1000-1500Php more. I bought the following batteries. I bought it for about 1,300php but if you look at the stats on the battery it would cost about 3500-4,000php here.

These kind of pads are hard to come by in the philippines. I bought it for Php500 each but I know stores sell it for Php1500-2000 each.

These boots are a great buy as well. Easily Php5,000-8,000 in the philippines. Boots take me the most time to put on, so the zippered sides are a BIG deal for me. Saved abotu Php2500-6,000.

Total Savings is about Php15,000 to as much as 30,000.

Got the following other trinkets

Pig Patch
Zombie Hunter patches, I was supposed to get enough for everyone on the team but
Also a Multi Cam BDU that is too big. I didn’t try to wear it but the measurements on the BDU was wrong. Anyway its easy enough to fix. In hindsight I think i could have ordered it straight from china next time.

BTW before you go to HK to buy airsoft here are some tips

  • The store is only open at 11am and only on week days and non-holidays.
  • Google Maps is your best friend and from the MTR its an easy 10min walk to the store
  • Plan out what you want to buy, get the SKU in the website already and how many, be sure to check if they have stock and alternates. The people in EhobbyAsia will have to get the equipment from their store-rooms, so if you want to get things quickly already list the SKUs and Quantities and Back ups. It took me 45mins to figure things out, and 30mins to get my stuff.
  • Only one person can speak english but limitedly so be ready with the list of things.
  • Bring as little stuff to HK so that you have space in your luggage for what you’ve brought. I was lucky i only brought 2 changes of clothes, so I had enough space for all the gear.
