Why people would deviate from Design, without Coordinating with Designer.

the reason I’m able to follow a lot of the technical aspects of my work is Cy’s explanation of Construction.
He’s talking about tolerances in one point. An example is in our Plant that the Maintenance did not follow the Design. I think they didnt because they didn’t have a DESIGN HANDOVER or a DESIGN DISCUSSION. where they walked through the plans. I say this because, typically when people DEVIATE FROM DESIGN, its because they’re fully committed to the work at the time. They didn’t anticipate the plan was going to deviate and only discovered issues.
