“Self-discharge
NiMH cells historically had a somewhat higher self-discharge rate (equivalent to internal leakage) than NiCd cells. The self-discharge is 5–10% on the first day and stabilizes around 0.5–1% per day at room temperature.[14][15][16][17][18]”
Just found this useful since a lot of my batteries are now Ni-MH. So after charging thats 10% + 1% per day. So a week is 17-16% discharged. A month will be 40% discharged. I’m not sure if its cumulative but its better to be sure, anyway I’m using a smart charger. Which uses Both change in voltage and temperature to tell if its done charging.
